My Story
I started to research Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in 2012 and I organized my first Bitcoin event in early 2013 at my Alma mater at Masaryk University in Czechia. Shortly after that I started to write my bachelor thesis which was dedicated to use of BTC and ETH, and I have been falling down the rabbit hole ever since while dedicating my life to studying, teaching, and building the cryptocurrency space.
In the last decade I have organized and talked on100+ meetups, lectures & conferences, while continuing my research during my Master of Science in Digital Currencies at the University of Nicosia in Cyprus, and lately also my PhD at Sorbonne Law School in Paris. In 2019 I started to teach the first full semester long cryptocurrency university course, which continues to be taught at the Slovak University of Technology.
I cofounded multiple educational NGOs such as Students for Liberty (CZ), Blockchain Slovakia, and Paralelna Polis that provided education in the area of Crypto, Economics, & Technology.
While advising to many startups, enterprises, funds and even government institutions in the area of cryptocurrencies, I have cofounded some companies myself. The last few years I served as CTO and Board Member at Cryptocurrency brokerage company Fumbi.
My many years long research was compressed into my book focused on the history and evolution of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies — Coinstory, which got published in 2022.
Lately my focus is on researching and building in the DeFi space.

Coinstory - The Evolution of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies
This book provides the most complex overview of the story of cryptocurrencies up to date. It deep dives into the history and evolution of the fundamental technologies, ideas, and communities behind cryptocurrencies. It aims to guide the readers through the exciting and beautiful world of crypto in a way that is easy to grasp. It analyzes all the major projects from the history of digital currencies that came before as well as after Bitcoin. The narrated story spans from the inception of the public key cryptography through emergence of the early digital currencies and Bitcoin to the exciting world of Decentralized Finance.
The book is built upon the thorough years-long research, active participation in multiple crypto communities, and interviews with key personalities shaping the world of crypto such as Scott Stornetta, Jimmy Song, Peter Todd, Emin Gün Sirer, and many others. The main goal of this book is to help people understand the social, legal, economic, and technological complexities of cryptocurrencies as well as to lay out the possible future developments in these areas.

V tomto kurze si vysvetlíme hlbšie ako funguje druhá najväčšia kryptomena na svete - Ethereum. Vysvetlíme si rôzne technické aj ekonomické aspekty tejto siete a povieme si viac aj o horúcej téme poslednej doby - DeFi, kde si povieme či ukážeme čo sú stablecoiny a ako fungujú decentralizované burzy či peňažné trhy. Rovnako sa dotkneme aj NFTčiek, a povieme si ako všetko toto súvisí s Metaverzom či virtuálnymi a hernými svetmi, ktoré boli popúlarne kedysi a dnes.
